Discernment – Evolution of Mastery
Scene: Camp Allen, Navasota, TX – Day 5 of 7 of Evolution of Mastery (an advanced residential course in the More To Life program) – lying on a pier, mid-afternoon, warm sun, 3 buzzards circling (I must have been there awhile). The wind was mildly gusting, a wooden post was keeping the sun off my face. The course had been intense, intimate, playful and soul-satisfying. I’d found a piece of heaven – inside and outside of me.
The wind turned fierce and forceful – I let it blow past me, around me, over me (as if I could do anything else) – tugging and bullying my clothing and literally shaking the pier. (PS That's a pic of the real pier I was lying on, but later in the day.)
My eye caught a shimmer of something (lifeshock), so I sat up and wondered at the silken thread that held a cobweb in place – even in the face of a strong, gusty wind. Two tiny filaments on one side of the web, three on the other – holding a 10×6 spider web in place between two wooden posts. I checked the backside of the post, where the filaments were attached – no glue, no prestick – nothing noticeable. It didn't look stout enough to withstand the aggressiveness of the wind. But it is, and it did.
My discernment: A silken, unshakable hold on simple truths is all I need to withstand Life’s buffetings, offerings – I am enough, I matter, you are enough, you matter, Life Is as IT Is!
Good, Ann. Clear as a bell.
Oh how I look forward to your words Ann. Timing is of course arbitrary but perfect for me. June
I so trust timing, even when its not My timing. (Well, mostly … 🙂
PINGgggggggg! The sound of the Tibetian Bell
Or…a LARGE SPIDER for a friend!

Given that, the truth and clarity may be easier to find…(smile again)
This is a vivid image, full and very helpful. Thank you Ann once again for illuminating a profound truth with your experience and clarity of expression.
